This website is run by Sarah Ballard Music (“I”, “me”). This page explains what personal information is collected when you use the site, and how it’s used.

What I collect, and why

Contact form. When you send a message through the contact form, you provide your name, email address, an optional wedding date and venue, and your message. This is used solely to reply to your enquiry and, if you book, to arrange your booking. Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify (the platform that hosts this website), and delivered to me by email.

No analytics or tracking cookies. This site does not currently use analytics or set tracking cookies.

Embedded media. Some pages embed audio or video players from Spotify, SoundCloud, or YouTube. These load only when displayed or clicked, and those services may set their own cookies when you interact with the player, subject to their own privacy policies.

How long I keep your information

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry or booking, and for reasonable record-keeping afterwards. I don’t use your details for marketing or share them with anyone else.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), you can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. To do any of these, just get in touch via the contact form.

Hosting

This site is hosted by Netlify. Like most hosting providers, Netlify keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operational purposes. See Netlify’s privacy policy for details.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page.
